One of the most powerful “tool” in the body is the mind. The mind controls the actions, train of thought and behaviour. The way we process our thoughts determines our actions towards a situation. As we grow, we continue to form beliefs. These beliefs form habits, some of which may cause us harm.
When people seek to improve their lives, they barely know that what stands between them and their goals is their own self. For example, I wish to go to the cinema to watch a new movie but I do not feel like dressing up so I stay at home and feel sad for not having gone to the cinema. What went wrong? I felt more comfortable staying at home because I knew that I would not have to make an extra effort to dress up but I ended up feeling sad for not making my wish come true. Would I have made some effort, I would have made myself feel much better and satisfied!

Such theory could be applied in other important aspects of your life. If you would like to earn a promotion from your boss, you have to work for it. If you keep on thinking that you might not be capable enough or that it seems impossible to earn the promotion, you will neither earn the promotion nor feel happy at work.
In order to improve your mindset, you have to be willing to do so. You have to be ready to change. Doing the same things over and over again will only lead you to achieve the same results. You will encounter struggles throughout the process, but they will help you develop a stronger mindset. Positive thinking kills negative thoughts. Positivity makes you feel more comfortable, happy and motivated. Negativity stabs your goals and your self-esteem.

Visualisation. Visualise yourself succeeding. It feeds positivity. No matter what you are feeling or what is going on around you, just think of yourself the way you would like yourself to be. You control your mind thus you control your imagination. Visualisation ignites passion and helps you create new goals thus life would be more interesting! Give yourself permission to try seeking new ways which can help you get closer to your goals and vision.
Try to think about the obstacles which you may have to overcome. This way you will feel stronger and well-prepared to challenge them. Mental imaging helps you see yourself out of your own self. Treat yourself as your best friend.
Your mind is a reflection of your thoughts. If you seek to be a more positive person, think positively. If you would like to be less anxious, try to calm down your senses. Your thoughts may help you attract (or not) people, places and things in your life. Not everything you visualise might turn to reality but the more you visualise, the better your life would be. Be ready to fail in some of your objectives yet celebrate your accomplishments. Use your mind to overcome doubts, fears and insecurities and instead fill yourself up with hope, success and joy.
